I dunno if it was some after effect of the lunar eclipse, but it was wonderful.

I was awakened by bright glistening ball of light. Pure, pristine, white. I’ve never seen the moon so bright before. Never seen things light up so beautifully under its light. It was right outside my window, looking inside. Waiting for me to notice it and smile. I smiled. I stared. I stayed. I stayed mesmerised. I had witnessed a scene from heaven. And I was happy. I was at peace. I felt blessed. It stayed there. As if just for me. Till I slithered back to sleep… and saw it in my dreams again.

Watching it pour at night.
Street lights reflected in the puddles of water, making it look like each one those puddles had a moon to themselves.
The windows blow and the ripples in water make those moons radiate some kind of energy.
You wonder if you could just bend down and touch just one of those. Feel those suttle vibrations, that soft light.
You wish you could just tear out that scene from the book of life.. and put it on your cupboard and make a collage of all such wonderful moments… to make it last forever. To relive it whenever you want.
