Dilli ki Sardi? Where?

January has not even come to an end and its mighty hot! Where has the world-famous in India “Dilli ki Sardi” gone? Despite last night’s showers and thunderstorms, the mercury refuses to go down.

Oh well, now I am also sounding weather obsessed :)

The Wrecker

  • A lot of times my ipod pauses for no reason. Probably to bring attention to its severly scratched n scarred outer shell.
  • The last phone I had crashed all by itself while resting in my hands. Thankfully was still under warranty and was fixed for free!
  • The lappie hasn’t even celebrated its first anniversary yet and its all cracked and broken. Nope, not even once did I drop it, and yet this is what happens!
  • Camera’s zoom had some problem. The gears got stuck and its under repair. Again, before turning 1.

There is a strange possibility of me emiting unusual amounts of electromagnetic waves. No electronic gadget has passed my hands, safe and sound. Nevertheless, I like to blame it on the hot and humid weather and the absence of a/c in my room!

When the bees sting and the moon recedes, it is then that the honeymoon comes to an end.

Illustration Friday - 80’s

The crazy fashion trends, the weird hairdos, the heidous clothes and accessories.

80’s was when I was born. Whatever I know about that decade is from movies :)

Please ignore this

The one survival tactic one needs to survive in a country like India is perfecting the art of ignoring anything and everything.

We all have learnt to ignore men fertilizing any plant they can find on the street and often mistaking walls for plants. They’ve learnt to ignore the thousands of people walking by.
We ignore people living on meagre income and struggling for survival. They’ve learnt to ignore the luxuries of the cars passing by while they sleep on the pavement.
Most women have learnt to ignore that man staring at them while you wait around the bus stop. People around have also learnt to ignore their helplessness.
We have learnt to skip through the pages where they report crime and instead skip to page 3. The page 3 janta have learnt to ignore the reality of life.
Eventually you learn to ignore that you’re a human being who possesses free will… the power to bring a change! You end up becoming just another zombie walking around with a billion more like yourself.

We’ve really misinterpretted the real message behind Gandhiji’s 3 wise monkeys!

Dude, where’s my blog?

Mwahahaha! I brilliantly managed to forget my login name and then somehow found it and I am here!
Now that I am done pretending to be busy and no more do I have an excuse of staying away from blogging, here I am writing again. Exam over! Loads of other stuff took place during this time. Life took a new turn towards heaven! :)

Other than that the rate at which my insanity multiplies remains the same. The sabbitical did no good to bring it down. The only difference is that now am just more jumpy and loud.

My camera has to be repaired. Therefore, I would only be posting illustrations till it comes back or I manage to save up to buy a  DSLR!
