Unblocked
My blocks are as nagging as I am.
Bought four books today:
- The Autograph Man - Zadie Smith
- Kafka on the Shore - Haruki Murakami
- We Need to Talk About Kevin - Lionel Shriver
- The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time - Mark Haddon
Now lets see how long would it take me to finish reading all of them… Hmm…

All the other blocks are a result of extreme amounts of that activity and the eventual saturation. Mine is quite the opposite. I haven’t read for a while. (My last one was the half-read Red Earth and Pouring Rain by Vikram Chandra.) Neither have I visited any bookstores in the last couple of months. So now I dunno what I should read next! I tried http://www.whatshouldireadnext.com/ but not sure if those suggestions are worth it…
HELP!

Bought two books yesterday Collected Short Stories Vol 4 by W. Somerset Maugham & Freakonomics. Wanted to buy more but stopped myself. My current collection isn’t that big, but neither is it small enough for me to take it back to India. Giving these books away also is not an option for me… I’m too attached to them. Therefore, making any additions to it can cause a problem! :-/
Life outside work is kind of hectic. Days are just zapping by… and I’m happy they are!

Unexpected company. The intervension made an almost stranger can be so soothing. God’s way of sending his angels. Talked and got to know more about him. At such ocassions do you actually realise that everyone is so alike, so human.
Did you say SALE?
Amit had told me that one of the branches of Magrudy’s was offering everything at 50%, since they were relocating. Bookstores in this country rarely have special offers or sales, therefore I never believed him till I went and checked it outmyself. Bought 3 books.
Hey Nostradamus - Douglas Coupland
Brick Lane - Monica Ali
Love and Other Impossible Pursuits - Ayelet Waldman
Currently reading: Amerika - Franz Kafka
